GFS - or "Who Screwed Who"
I have waited 6 months to let things cool down.
It did not help.
I am still pissed at GFS!
Why I will never buy another pickup from GFS.
Pickup: Crunchy Rails
Advertised In BOLD! "A Blazing Hot 16.2K" Liars!
Yet when measured the pickup it was 15K even no decimal points.
When I email GFS about this fact, I was "Told" that there will be "Variances" between pickups.
OK!
Then why did you resort to "False Advertising" claiming the this pickup is exactly "16.2K"?
And when I asked for my money back, I was told that my shipping would not be refunded.
Again OK!
First you charged me $15.00 S&H.
If I send the pickup back, I am still out $15.00
I am unhappy, Pissed in fact, and GFS is still up $15.00
I know is only cost $2 to mail a pickup.
16.2K = I Got Screwed
False Advertising = I Got Screwed!
$15.00 Shipping & Handling = I Got Screwed!
Basically the person at GFS just told me to go "F" myself!
AGAIN!
I Got Screwed!
Both Demarzio & Seymour Duncan can be very grateful:
Because of GFS has made me realize that when they advertise a pickup at 16K it will actually be 16K.
Just about every vendor selling pickups now offers "FREE SHIPPING"
Also most of the sellers on eBay now offer free shipping.
So GFS! What's up with that ???
Affordable Pickups my Ass!
$40.00 Pickup + $20.00 Shipping = $60.00
DiMarzio Humbucker, any humbucker, Pick one.
$64 No Tax with FREE Shipping!
The price difference between major brand resellers with free shipping and the price of GFS pickups "WITH" shipping is only a
few dollars apart. The price difference "for me" is not all that great. So from now on I will just pay the difference for a
reputable brand pickup.
Also, Just for the sake of being Pissy!
I am pulling out the 12 GFS pickups in my guitars and replacing most of them with DiMarzio's.
